Planning engine removal for maximum efficiency is crucial. As Bruce states in the article, “LLPs are life-limited for a reason, there are safety factors in play and the loss of an LLP whilst in flight could be catastrophic. We have to trust that the OEM has got their R & D work completed and verified by the regulating authorities.”
